Searching through reviews, they range all over the place, so hard to tell how good it is.  It is a discontinued model (probably why it's so cheap), but for the price might be worth a try.

I saw some pretty mixed reviews as well, but the majority consensus was that the product was bad overall. Some said that the range of the radar was not far enough to safely detect police radar. Another who liked the product said the main down fall was how big it was. (I brought it up since we have to attach it to our bikes somehow) The biggest concern was that the radar itself leaks a large amount of frequencies (not VG4 immune) making who ever the user is, easier to spot with a radar detector detector. Even though it's cheap I wouldn't spend the money on it.

radar detectors are something you want to actually spend the money on.  Otherwise its worthless because you won't trust it.

Those three are the ones you probably want.

Also, laser jammers are probably FAR more useful nowadays.

i haven't tried the bel, but the valentine one and passport 8500 are legit... well worth the $300+

the way i see it is, if you spend less than the cost of a potential speeding ticket for a radar detector, it is garbage!
The world bores you when you're cool

I have a old cobra ...and it works on the highway but not really on the streets. I picked it up for 100$ 5 or 6 years ago and it picks up laser quite well.

Probably a good idea to have a topic on Choosing a Radar Detector.
I posted my responses in it.

Happy ticket-free rides,
